Drew had his first baseball practice (ever) yesterday. Being from Ohio, the thought of an outdoor baseball practice on February 4th was a little foreign to me, and it was chilly by California standards (high 50's), but it was a lot of fun seeing the kids learn the game. There was a small "mishap" where Drew fell and almost poked his eye out on a water bottle....but other than that...it was a good first practice for the li'l Dodgers.
Claire also got her athlete on by starting gymnastics. The way she bounds around the house and springs off dangerously high pieces of furniture with little to no parental supervision, we thought gymnastics would be perfect for her. She seemed to enjoy it, and it looks like we might also be seeing ballet and/or ice skating in her future.
